Guatiza is an authentic Canarian village with bags of charm and character. It's located around 10 minutes drive from the beautiful unspoilt beach of Arrieta and around 5 minutes walk from Lanzarote's famous Cactus Garden.
The resort of Costa Teguise is also just 10 minutes drive away.
The village is tranquil and sleepy, full of whitewashed houses, surrounded by farmers fields, many of which are full of the iconic Tunera Cactus, which locals use to attract and harvest cochineal beetles, to make the red cochineal dye.
There is a small supermarket in the village, a cash point and an excellent Italian restaurant, as well as a couple of bars where you can enjoy a drink and a snack.
Finca Botanico enjoys an idyllic edge of village location, so great walks and scenery are available right on the doorstep.
Internally, the villa has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, offering free high speed WiFi, Smart/Internet widescreen TV with UK channels and a wood burner for cooler winter nights, along with many other features. Beach and bath towels and bed linens are all provided free of charge.
The focal point is the huge garden room, combining a kitchen/lounge/diner with great views into the garden via large glass sliding doors which can be opened up to create a real sense of indoor/outdoor living.
There is a further separate lounge area equipped with comfy seating, library and a picture window providing great views of the surrounding countryside. Along with a marble tiled bathroom with large walk in shower.
The large master bedroom has a king size bed measuring 1.8m by 2m and the second bedroom has a queen size bed, 1.6m by 2m.
