Summary: Good stay! Room came with towels and linens. The beds were what you'd expect from a hostel. We stayed during Oktoberfest, so it was a little rowdy. About a 15 min walk to the train station. Not too many food options nearby, but the lobby has vending machines. All day luggage storage is provided.

Not too many food options nearby, but the lobby has vending machines. All day luggage storage is provided.

Summary: Title: Disappointing Experience at a&o München Laim
We stayed for one night and were quite disappointed. Our twin room wasn’t ready even an hour after the official check-in time. After requesting assistance, we were given another room, but conditions were the same. Confusingly, the elevator had an "out of order" sign but was actually working. As a goodwill gesture, we were offered one coffee in the morning — but when I asked for a second one for my travel companion, they refused. Poor service overall and not a pleasant stay.

Summary: Small rooms, hot without a fan windows opened but would open toward the patio downstairs where people smoked and it would all come into the room, but without the open window it was hot in the room. Loud in the halls at night and the door kept rattling whenever someone down the hall would open their door. Kept us ipyat night. Otherwise it was a convenient location for travel

Summary: Its a hostel...its affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful but over run by so many guests so you have to be patient. This hostel is next to 12 sifferent train tracks ao its very noisy...no fans or AC so if its hot plan on cold wet towels at night to help you sleep...the bar, the big screen, vending machines and pizza machine were great additions... there were many many teenagers here during our stay that we're very loud but we have our own teenagers and love kids so it was fine for us but if you don't like kids this would be a problem... I would stay here again next time I'm in Munich but I would make sure that my room did not face the train tracks!

Summary: I recommend getting the rooms in the front side of the building, it is quieter. The back side of the building are facing the train rails. It’s very noisy and you cannot sleep with close windows because of the heat in the summer. Unfortunately they don’t have AC. But you can borrow a fan from the reception. Otherwise the room is great and nothing else we can complain.

Summary: Booked a private 4 bed room. 10 min walk to s-bahn. Service is like not exciting. Rooms are warm. Ordered cleaning the day before, but no cleaning was done. Complained, they said they could give cleaning the day after. I told them its too late because that was the day i was checking out. Why even have a system with room cleaning that doesnt work? Not much to do in the area around hostel, beside 1 Lidl store a few restaurants.

Summary: Pricewise good hostel and location for Munich. However as it is a hostel a lot of young teenagers partying until late night which you can hear in the whole building.
If you expect a lot of comfort thats def nothing for ya.
Considering the price it was worth it. You get what you pay ;)
