Positive: Location is very good. Staff friendly. Efficient use of limited space and energy-efficiencies built in.

Negative: Room size is very small. I realize that is a European thing but if you have a large piece of luggage (we did), it is a real hassle to find a place to put it and opening it meant you must put it on the bed. Additionally, the safe is not even big enough to put a small (13.5”) laptop in it, the fridge barely holds anything and half of the shelving unit is obstructed by a mirror that is mounted on it. Put the mirror on a door and leave access to the (already) very small storage area! The pillows on the bed are very narrow and the length of the bed is small. I am 5’5”and I take up the length of the bed. If you are taller than me, your feet will hang off. The headboard above the bed is, I guess, supposed to be decorative but you have to be sure you don’t smack you head on it when you get in and out of the bed because it is mounted approximately 2’ above the bed, meaning the narrow pillows are directly under it. When you turn on the main lighting switch, the room lights up like the Las Vegas Strip. Your only other choice is two small spotlights next to the bed or use the bathroom light which reflects into the room because of bathroom design (internal and external opaque glass walls that let one bathroom light light up the whole room). Front desk staff is friendly but not very efficient or knowledgeable. One staff member directed us to a launderette that doesn’t exist any more (in fairness, Google didn’t know it either), and a few other things that happened on our future stays. Stay tuned for more on those.
