Positive: Location There are attractive walks, including in La Suara. Birding lagoons on the west and south coast are superb and it it not too far to the mountains further east. There is an excellent supermarket in Barca. The kitchen/ dining area is excellent as are the two nearest bedrooms and bathroom. Good cooking facilities, large fridge/freezer.

Negative: Arrival There was no indication which route accessed the house. Access from north, signed Centro Hipico La Suara, led past rubbish to a closed metal gate. Despite our communication via Booking.com, it seemed we were not expected. There were several problems which Miguel corrected for us in the first evening. Food needs to be under cover, as there are mice. Good hot water supply only if the sun shines. Outside area at rear The area is very sunny and sheltered but was being used to dump damaged and discarded furniture, disused freezers and debris from building work. Some tidying and cleaning of the area would have been welcome. We did not expect to use the pool - it was muddy brown. Food needs to be under cover, as there are mice.
