The mature garden that surrounds the house is furnished with Canarian palms and mediterranean plants and trees, a heated pool located in the very private part of the second terrace giving room for total relaxation. Guatiza is a small old village with about 400 inhabitants that nestles harmoniously in a valley with its white houses. It is located in the lower northern part of the island and forms the background for the 200 year old, completely renovated farmhouse. The artist Cesar Manrique planned and designed an interesting cactus garden in Guatiza and thus made the small village known. The villa is located a bit out of the main village street (a well-stocked supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes), embedded in the typical rural life of the village. Kitchen and dining room are very spacious and laid out in one area. The green pigmented cement floor, the large stainless steel stove and the bright country-style kitchen offer the perfect blend of modern quality of life and original country house style with Moroccan influence.
