Summary: It was a very pleasant stay. Communication was good and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was kept clean to a high standard. The only reason I didn't give it full marks is the heating wasn't working very well so the room felt a bit chilly in the evening. Maybe provide a duvet in the winter. Otherwise, it is an excellent place to stay to explore Madrid. Very central to all the major attractions and close to the metro station as well. Malasaña is a fantastic neighborhood replete with bars and restaurants with a very hip and laid-back vibe. I will definitely stay at this hostel again when I return to Madrid.
