Summary: We stayed at Hotel Rote 19 on November 30th 2023 for 1 night. We would rate this as 2.5 or 3 out of five it certainly does not in our view meet exceptional and 9.8 when compared to other places we have stayed all over europe. The It It is not a hotel as per se, It is a boutique set up building that is converted with each accommodation having sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. The positives are that it is close to everything, clean, bed was comfortable and large nice bathroom. The web site descriptors are not clear to people based on normal hotel experience. The things you should know are: they say no elevator for upper floors which leaves impression that there are accessible rooms, this is not an accessible hotel for people with disabilities or have mobility issues, there are 29 steep steps to reach the first level where what they call reception is and where the first two rooms are and more steps to get to the other rooms (see pictures). They indicate wi-fi in common areas and limited hours at reception, there are no common areas just ladings. There are many other considerations when we give our rating, ( extension cords uses along walls, portable air filter for air circulation, please check our pictures. This location was certainly acceptable in our view for our stay but does not have amenities of a 4 o 5 star.

Summary: The manager of the hotel was friendly, thorough, and helpful. He made the stay delightful. We loved the room. It had ample space, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located perfectly, right in the middle of the shopping and dining area of Regensburg. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Amazing location and staff. Room was small but typical for Europe. The only reason I gave 4* to comfort was because there is no elevator and 1 of the footboards wasn’t attached. Pack light because the stairs are fairly steep and they are a spiral. Otherwise, this place is amazing and I wouldn’t have any reason to choose another hotel on my next visit. If you’re looking for a hotel with typical amenities like restaurant and bar...look elsewhere. This place only has 6 rooms so that stuff would be a waste but you’re within steps of everything. You’d be missing out on a great quaint hotel though if you didn’t give it a try. Look forward to my next visit at Rote 19.

Summary: This is a very small hotel and you barely see the staff but they are all kind and polite. The room I stayed was spot clean, bed was magnificent and they had very nice pieces of art. My only note to the owners since is a hotel without breakfast or service is to put a small fridge in the room so guests can bring their own refreshments during the stay.

Summary: The property is wonderful and bed and sofa bed were super comfy. Lavazza coffee in the room and sky tv also very handy. Public parking opposite the hotel and you can explore the old town on foot which is lovely. The only caution is that if you are staying on higher floors, try not to pack so much as he spiral staircase makes lugging your bags quite painful. Alsk the shower overflows even with a quick shower.
