St. Virgil Salzburg is not only a hotel, but also an education and conference center. Our house is located in the middle of a natural park and impresses with its quiet location in the green district of Aigen. Getting there by public transport is easy: the Ernst-Grein Straße stop on line 7 is a 10-minute walk away - then you can be in the middle of the old town by bus in 15 minutes. Bus tickets are available directly from reception during opening hours. Alternatively, you can park your vehicle free of charge in the spacious private car park. There is also an e-charging station available for a fee. In summer you can also reach the old town by bike (approx. 12 minutes). In our in-house bike rental you can get a bike or e-bike (for a fee) depending on availability. St. Virgil's overall concept consists of two houses: The modern, already listed architecture in St. Virgil is characterized by small but fine rooms - many even with a balcony overlooking the greenery. In the second house St. Rupert (164 ft away from the main house) there are more spacious rooms in country house style. The furnishings of the rooms are the same in both houses! Sit on our café terrace and enjoy the view of nature and the surrounding mountains with coffee and snacks. In the warm season we also have organic ice cream! Organic is also the trump card at the regional breakfast buffet (for example with locally produced juices). Another plus: Right next to the terrace of our café there is a playground in the large park that was redesigned in 2024 with lots of equipment for children of all ages. There is also a Balance-Parcours and a swing for adults and invites you to "stay young". Sustainability is important to us: We avoid surplus food at our buffets so that we have to throw away as little as possible. Our rooms are not cleaned daily, but according to your individual needs. In this way you too can help us protect the environment!
