The Sorolla Museum, an art gallery set within a restored mansion, is located in Chamberí, along with the Andén 0 Estación Museo, a "ghost" subway station that is now open to visitors. Another neighborhood attraction is Santander Park, a huge public park where you can jog, picnic, or play sports on the weekends.
Gaztambide is a neighborhood that’s at once laid-back and lively. Situated close to the main university campus and a short walk to Parque del Oeste, the area is popular with students. It’s a go-to destination for live music, nightlife, and affordable restaurants that are open late.
