You are near many hiking trails (if you walk up Mapleton towards the foothills 1 mile you can access Mt Sanitas hiking trail and many others), the Boulder Creek and Bike Path (approx 1 mile), Chautauqua Trail and Park (1.8 miles away) just to name a few.

Other things to note
This home is a historically significant landmark in Boulder. The original parts were built between 1884 and 1892. It is in the Colonial Revival style and has rounded portico with columns (front porch), bay, dormer and reverse Palladian windows, stone sills and decorative brick work are just some of the unique architectural details.
Some of the windows no longer open (in the kitchen and living room bay windows) and since they are the original they cannot be replaced. There is plenty of air flow through the windows in the bedroom and the screen door in the living room.
