Situated midway between Rainbow Boulevard (HWY 50) and downtown, this condo is perfect for enjoying the town of Salida or making an easy getaway in any direction for the day’s adventure. Our home is within walking or biking distance to historic downtown but far enough away for quiet evenings and easy parking. Built in 2006, the condo is a modern, comfortable get-away for relaxing with family and friends. The house has three upstairs bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The house is decorated and fully equipped to make this vacation home a real home away from home. With shade trees, gardens, and a small yard this condo has a peaceful ambiance that can be enjoyed from the front porch or the patio off the kitchen.
The Arkansas river, minutes away, presents excellent fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking opportunities. Access to a wide variety of ecosystems on BLM and National Forest land provide hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and many other activities. Zip lines and train rides complement summer fun activities. Monarch Mountain ski area is a mere 25 minutes away. Discount ski tickets can be purchased on the Ski Monarch website. Summer or winter, Salida has much to offer. After a full day of playing outdoors come home and relax. If you still have energy it’s a short trip to the hot springs pool and the recreation center.
