Taxis (cabs or minibus) are plentiful for that big night out or big shop. The need to hire a car is guest optional, depending if you wish to explore the island or stay local. However if you don't drive or don`t wish to, its not a concern, there is a 1/2 hourly bus service 7 days a week into the main resort of Puerto Del Carmen with all its many amenities, attractions and three golden beaches water sports and scuba diving.
