All 3 cities can be reached by car or train in just one hour. It is about 30 minutes to the nearby Chiemsee. For a decelerated vacation, you can leave the car alone. There are many possibilities to hike in the valley or to the mountains, to explore the area by bike or for the very sporty to bike to the mountains. Those who are not good on foot can take the cog railway to the 1838 m high Wendelstein and enjoy the view of the Central Alps. It is a special experience to take a bird's eye view of the area from the time of gliding. Flintsbach has a very large natural swimming pool that is fed with pure mountain water.
