Positive: This apartment is beautiful. It is stylishly decorated and has a lovely set up for a family holiday. The dining area has beautiful bifold doors on two sides with nice views over the pool and out to the sea when the doors are open which gives a great inside out dining feeling. Both kitchen and lounge look gorgeous. The tv is massive, has cool LEDs that change with the scene on the tv! the couch is large enough to comfortably sit four people and I think it also converts to an additional bed. The terrace and pool are fabulous with lovely views out to the sea. It is a sun trap so even on cooler or windy days it was really warm. But there is no shade and not even an umbrella so on hotter days it could be unbearable. There is plenty of space and seating options, the pool is lovely - not a big size but decent enough size for dipping and a lovely shallow area for sunbathing and relaxing. It also has LEDs which look cool at night time.

Negative: However… the check in process did not work well for us. The address on booking was wrong and so when we arrived I was really concerned that it was a fake booking. Especially when the number I had would not answer the phone only texts which were rude and sporadic. I think the problem was probably caused by language barrier and the fact that they hadn’t been able to get hold of me in the day to confirm eta (because I was flying). It worked out ok in the end but we had to wait almost an hour in the cold and dark with the worry that we had been scammed. Also when we eventually got in to the apartment I was asked to pay an additional deposit, even though on booking.com i had a note to say that all expenses were paid. I was also not clear on the process to check out. All of this could be easily fixed if they provided more clarity on booking.com on the exact process for check in and check out. There are also some small things that they could easily address to improve the guest experience: 1. Bathrooms: the ensuite is really nice with two sinks and a nice big shower. But the shower in the shared bathroom floods as soon as the water is turned on because the screen is not fitted correctly. The tap in this bathroom is also broken and so It basically means that this bathroom is not really usable. 5 people sharing one ensuite is not ideal. Also there are no towel rails in either bathroom and no toilet roll holder in the en suite which just make it a little impractical. 2. Kitchen: is generally quite well equipped. There is a coffee machine and juicer to squeeze oranges. Great big fridge and freezer (although the water and ice machine don’t work). There are only 3 Wine glasses and the bottle opener is really difficult to use. There is no bread knife and the ones there are blunt. 3. Bedrooms: two good sized double rooms and all three have loads of wardrobe space.

Summary: It’s a good place for a family holiday. Some small and inexpensive attention to detail and it would be perfect.
