The village is at an altitude of 970 meters, centrally located near the tri-border point of Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Pfunds is also conveniently located in several ski resorts. Major ski areas such as the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, the vast Ischgl-Samnaun ski area, and the Nauders ski paradise are within easy reach. On the Kaunertal glacier, you can even ski all year round. There is also plenty to do in other seasons in the Pfunds area. Enjoy the surrounding mountain world on a beautiful cycling or hiking tour.
