The Ilmhaus is very rural and central in the middle of Bavaria. The major cities of Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg and Regensburg are all accessible within 1 hour. Special attractions such as the Altmühltal, Walhalla, Kloster Weltenburg and the thermal baths in Bad Gögging can be reached within 15-30 minutes.

Summary: We had a wonderful retreat into the heart of Germany at Imhaus Gaden. . The cottage is even better than the pictures, the decor is lovely. The town is very small but worth the drive, and a small town or two with stores are close by. Its a perfect place for a family retreat since it sleeps many. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the Imhaus.
