PUERTA ROJA is a lovingly and individually restored village house, quiet and idyllic located in the upper antique part of the white village of Montejaque. The cozy cottage has been restored to its original condition and preserved.
From a small forecourt of the picturesque alley with seating, you enter the cottage through a large antique wooden door and come directly into the open kitchen with dining area, so that you also have a beautiful view from here.
From the kitchen it goes directly into the living room with sofa, which can also be used as a bed for a third guest / child.
On cold evenings, an antique, cast iron, functional wood stove can provide cozy warmth. (A short briefing if you want to use it will be given on request).
From the living room there is a small hallway from which the bathroom with shower leads to the spacious bedroom with a double bed.
PUERTA ROJA is located in the most beautiful part of the white village (Pueblo Blanco) Montejaque amidst the wonderful mountain scenery of the Sierra de Grazalema in the Parque Natural de Libar National Park, not far from the famous Andalusian town of Ronda (15 km).
Montejaque is an ideal place to relax and attracts many nature lovers and hikers.
You can also move directly from the village into nature without a car. Numerous signposted hiking trails start in Montejaque, e.g. B to Grazalema, Ronda, Cortes de la Frontera or Jimera de Libar.
By car you are in 1.5 hours in the old town of Seville, in 1 hour in Jerez de la Frontera, in 1.5 hours in Malaga,
2 hours in Granada or 1 hour in Marbella. In the village there are numerous tapas bars, restaurants, in the summer months a wonderfully located swimming pool, as well as small tiendas where you can get good local products. Two banks with ATMs are in the village center.
If you want to spend your vacation in a typical Andalusian atmosphere without being permanently surrounded by tourists, you will feel comfortable here. PUERTA ROJA is located in the Barrio Nazari, the quiet upper part of Montejaque, in which no cars can drive through the picturesque streets, and is ideal for simply switching off.
